The Roosters

The Roosters

The Roosters started crowing in 1994 performing in clubs, street dances, fairs, city celebrations and country music festivals. During that time they have developed a tight live sound and show you only get by playing together as a group for eleven years.

Rick Adams has a knack for interpreting the lyrics of a song and delivers strong lead vocals.

Rock Menge offers an edgier vocal aspect to the group as well as providing blended back up harmonies while laying down the bass groove.

Luke Smillie keeps things solid on the drums and also provides background vocals.

Mike Morse puts the icing on the cake with outstanding guitar riffs.

They are based out of Fargo, ND. Their first CD “Ready, Willing and Able” received extensive airplay on regional radio stations. They just recorded their second CD “Sorry bout the Mess” in April and it was released nationally on Spectra Records in the Spring of 2007. The title track is the first release and has drawn rave reviews. It is one of the most requested songs on Sirrius radio nationwide.

The much anticipated “Sorry bout the Mess” has been seven years in the making and offers a wide range of musical influences with very diverse original songs. “Sorry bout the Mess” is available at all The Roosters shows and online at www.theroosters.com.

They have become regular favorites at the largest country music and camping festival in the nation, We Fest, Detroit Lakes, MN.

The Roosters are one of the premier country rock acts in the Upper Midwest. With 2 CD’s to their credit, that have received national airplay, The Roosters are far more than a regional band.

Strong vocals backed by rock solid musicians, The Roosters are comfortable playing in every venue. From concerts, fairs and festivals to clubs and corporate parites, they are a hit wherever they play. They have shared the stage with many of the nations top country stars and have often heard people say, “You should have been the closing act”. Once again they will be on the main stage at We Fest in Detroit Lakes this year, a festival they have played more than any other act, national or otherwise.
